I ran across an anime series that might appeal to some of the readers here, 86 Eighty-Six, which is loosely a mech warfare story with a fair amount of character development. It is on Crunchyroll in multiple languages now.
Hope this is not too out of topic for the forum.
If we cannot get a live action adaption of Safehold, maybe we can get A-1 to do an anime series - series of 200+ episodes exist.
