I enjoyed it. I really appreciated the time span covered as much as it did, so we can see how the technology progressed, as well as how the political situation developed after the conclusion of the Jihad

I can picture RFC gleefully spreading chapters out over the years after the long month by month slog of the Jihad and the final books of the Honorverse going over the same events again and again and again.
