They're royalty, so they're likely to have four or five names apiece before getting to the hyphenated surnames. There may not even be overlap, so everyone of Irys and Hector's friends, family, and beloved monarchs may get represented. And all those names mean that edging over some names that their royal step-relatives and in-law's use too is no problem: it's gratuitously hard to avoid.

That said, slapping 'Hector' and 'Haarahld' both on one of them (at least) would be nicely symbolic of the buried hatchet between Charis and Corisande, even more than their birth and their parents' marriage already has done.

So twin boys named Haarald Hektor and Hektor Haarald might prove beneficial?

So are you going to explain that reasoning, or are you just enjoying being mysterious?

Sometimes figuring something out is it's own reward ;). The names have alternate meaning in their native language. Aniani is Hawiian for mirror and Kagami is the Japanese d:o.

inevitable if one the tiwns is male it will be Hecktor, the poltical benefits are too good to be passed up, regerdless of the semi common convection of naming boys after their fathers.

if both are male it gets a bit trickier, so i'd say Hektor Harold and Michael Dunkyn

if one female then Michaelya should work, and probably give her irys' mother name which i don't think has ever been said
