...is a dead horse topic like the Grav Lance in the Honorverse forum. Then at times like this when things are especially slow somebody would resurrect the topic and we could all flog the deceased equine for the 100th time. :lol:

Well, I can think of a few candidates. Top of the list is probably "Merlin should trick the OBS into blowing the Temple away!", but there are a couple of others running now that merit consideration for the position.

Observation balloons, this doesn't look like electricity so can't they ... , diesels, machine guns - which type? King Haralds are stupidly overpowered so shouldn't be built ..., Merlin should just kill all the ... etc etc

What this forum really needs is new canonical material to discuss - either posts or snippets. :D

We should keep in mind "Not in the Literature" by Christopher Anvil where people were trying to build stuff without electricity (they never discovered it, knew nothing about it).
