Amazon.uk are not offering any discount to Hardback purchasers unlike USA
So that would be another £12.95

Wait, what? Is Amazon.com offering a discount on kindle versions if you pick up the hardcover? I'm not seeing anything other than the kindle version being $0.71 cheaper than the hardcover I picked up.

Oh well, I guess I get to wait patiently for them to plant my tree, watch it grow, cut it, turn it into paper and print the book. Aaaaany day now.

Gee, I sorta feel guilty that I had the ebook promptly on the 15th. It sounds like the poor readers who are still in anguish while awaiting their copies are holding out for the hardback.

I switched to ebooks years ago and never looked back. No more trips to the library, and I can read them on my large computer screen. The eyes aren't as sharp as they used to be.

Best of luck, and I envy all of you who will shortly feel the joy of receiving an unread novel in the Safehold series. Like everyone else who's already read HFQ, I'll have to wait another year or two to feel that moment of joy again. But I'll enjoy the next Honorverse and Multiverse novels in the meantime... :D

"Oh bother", said Pooh as he glanced through the airlock window at the helmet he'd forgotten to wear.
