Still, you'll have to agree that in the event he should actually find one, it would be a reasonable target for Ahlverez.

All joking aside, the ICA ought to be able to locate and capture Ahlverez before he can escape (if his men animals are physically up to it) even without a seijin dropping in on DE or Hanth to tell them where Ahlverez and his merry band are located. I just don't see how Ahlverez doesn't end up as the ranking Dohlaran POW fairly soon, unless DE heads back the way he came, leaving Hanth undermanned and facing the best armed of the enemy armies in existence. Since EHM is covering Glacierheart and ought to be able to drive Kaitswyrth out of his hidey hole at Aivahnstyn, having DE move to capture Ahlverez and help Hanth take Dohlar out of the war once and for all seems to be the most logical move.
