Rayno's internal monologue mentions one of the three agent's inquisitors killed could have belonged to the Hand of Kau-yung. That sounds like an actual "demon" worshiping group that the Inquisition has been locking horns with for quite some time.

Who are they? Is that a generic term of a double agent or does that organization actually exist to counter the Inquisition and the CoGA?

Isn't that the label they hung on the SSK because they didn't know the name of the group that was doing SSK activities (aka assassinating Vicars, disappearing families before the Inquisition could get them, etc)?

Isn't that the label they hung on the SSK because they didn't know the name of the group that was doing SSK activities (aka assassinating Vicars, disappearing families before the Inquisition could get them, etc)?

That was the name that Rayno's underlings had assigned to the group doing the assassinations of vicars, so yes it is probably the SSK. It certainly is a group associated with Nynian, but so far, there is only conjectural evidence that it is the SSK.
