Future books

Hello,

Apologies if this has been covered before but I am a relative newbie...

I have seen a few posts which refer to the series carrying on in this time line for a couple of more books maybe upto Safehold 10 and then jumping forward to a final confrontation with the Gbaba. I am assuming the current storyline would end at the point Charis has defeated the CoGA, overcome whatever sleeps under the temple and negated the orbital defence system.

What I haven't seen is anything written by David Webber either to confirm or deny this. Is there an author source for this speculation or is it just that 'speculation'. I would be grateful if someone could point me to the source of this intel. or indicate that David has not given this away and any speculation is just speculation.

There is a post on Honorverse by poster SAWA from a group discussion by RFC with Polish Fans and from the recording thereof, the following is from the equine's mouth concerning Safehold future books;

Safehold - David is planning to wrap up the current war in 2-3 books (including HFQ which is already turned in), than 2-3 books for the millenium visit war / resolution. There will probably be no book dealing with the Gbaba, but instead there will be an extended epilogue where we will see the end of that plotline.

Many thanks, I'd never have found that post and it's slightly different than I'd understood from random secondary sources. It always better to get a something attributed to the equines mouth.
