Redeeming Qualities: Drive, Intelligence
Negative Qualities:
He’s a self-deluded bigoted genocidal megalomaniac, with delusions of Divinity. He’s licentious a glutton and revels in all the luxury his rank can command.
As DW has portrayed him up to now, he is utterly devoid of any emotion other then rage and hatred, and self-gratification whether when feeding his appetites, or when ordering the torture or death of his enemies.
A fair summation I would think, IMO.
DW does have a gift of creating characters, not just protagonists like Merlin and Honour, but also antagonist like Clynthan and St. Just.
