So, at the beginning of the month David’s Facebook had a post saying his office was destroyed by a tornado but that he could replace his equipment. I can’t read his twitter or go back over his Facebook so what I’d like to know is if there’s been any mention of this further delaying his writing the next book?

Yep, the average is about a year. And with us literally just getting David set up in a temporary office, like last night, things are going to run even more behind. David had his sinus surgery the Tuesday before the hurricane hit us on that Friday. His office, what’s left of it, is under a tarp right now. As far as we can tell, very little will be salvageable. We know the computers and monitors are gone. We are hoping some of his books might survive under everything else. But since our house is 98% okay we are very far down on the list to get work done. You guys hang in there! David will be back to work soon!

As of now, there hasn't been any mention of further delays to his writing due to the tornado. His post indicated he could replace his equipment, so it seems like he's still on track. that's not my neighbor
