Yeah...

...recently I got this silly thought about how to deal with the Stilties in OBS, and the insane CGI budget any adaptation of these would bring. Not sure if somebody else already had this idea, but...

...just don't bring them in. No three-legged Stilties. Make them look like some kind of Klingons or whatever. There, millions of dollars saved.

It's not like they are important to the universe in any way, they appear exactly *once*, and only in a side-role.

It's not silly. I happen to agree with the idea that any producer shouldn't waste time and resources getting the Medusans exactly right.

The only alien species constantly present throughout the stories are the treecats. Unlike the Medusans, treecats actually have characters who are integral to several plot points - though I'll admit that the Medusans probably play more of a role in the story of OBS than Nimitz does.
