Dear Evergreen and/or Idol Dev;
So, I have finished the game, and I really did enjoy it. However, during my time playing, there are a few things I felt that I would like to be added or addressed. Please don't take these as demands, but hopefully they could be considered. 1. More levels. I had a lot of fun, and would like more please. 2. A Tactical Officer. Some way that I could just order my attack missiles to fire when loaded, rather than having to do it my self. I usually use sequenced fire from my three batteries, and it is more annoying than anything else when I have to keep pushing a button every second and a half to keep attacking the enemy. Maybe just a toggle switch above the launch buttons that switches between "fire on demand" and "fire when ready." 3. A way to exchange metal and plasma. 4. Some way to sell missiles and conduit. I currently have 1,158 anti laser missiles and 102 pieces of conduit that I will probably never need. (I have been grinding a bit.) 5. An item that would allow me to repair two departments simultaneously during combat. That way, if I am in a hole, I wouldn't have to repair my defense OR offence, but I could do both at once. Possibly start it at "repair one at full speed or two at half speed" and then upgrade it to two at full speed for top level. 6. A disruptor item for roll ability. It is the only thing I can't use my Hull Penetrator missiles to take out, and if it is all that the enemy has left, it just postpones the inevitable. Especially at the end, when they spin as fast as the Tasmanian Devil from Loony Toons. 7. An enemy that surrenders when they have no offence nor defense left and are at almost no hull points. I'm not saying that everyone should, but I kind of feel bad about blowing up defenseless ships time after time after time. It's like pushing chicks in to a pond of near-pike. 8. Some sort of association between the colors of the level name, the cargo pod, and the items in it. It is one thing to do a Legendary fight, get a Very Rare pod and a Rare or Uncommon item, but when I did a Legendary fight, got an Uncommon pod and no item at all, I wanted to throw my tablet across the room. 9. An "exit" button. Something that saves the progress and closes the game, so I don't have to visit two outposts without buying anything before I force close the game to ensure I don't loose my most recent items. 10. More levels please!! I do hope you consider these requests when designing the next update/level pack, and if you do, they are more or less ordered by how much I want them, although 5 and 6 are more or less interchangeable. Can anybody think of anything else? Please feel free to add it to this thread. ________________

I would like to see the following.
First (and most importantly), a page with the titles of all the Harrington Books in story chronological order (anthologies to one side) as this will let those discovering the Honorverse through the game get into the whole thing quicker. Secondly - Firing modes for the batteries (level-dependent). 1 - Massed (current default, all missiles same type) 2 - Ripple (missiles launched one at a time over the course of two or three seconds) (L5+) 3 - Seeded (One of each type of missile with standard missiles filling the empty spaces) (L8+) Firing mode to affect all batteries in order to keep the complexity from overwhelming the game Third - Dynamic backgrounds showing other ship-ship combats during the fleet action stages. Fourth - A page showing a picture of the design/programming/marketing team in Honorverse uniform (just because...) Fifth - The ability to replay previous sectors (Please...) ~~~~~~
I can't write anywhere near as well as Weber But I try nonetheless, And even do my own artwork. (Now on Twitter)and mentioned by RFC! ACNH Dreams at DA-6594-0940-7995 |

Majority opinion is that story chonological order is a poor way for newcomers to get into the Honorverse. But if you want such a thing, it does exist (as best a can be managed when the stories overlap chronologically so often). It is slightly out of date: http://www.davidweber.net/downloads/index/timelines

Move component pads around for convenience.
Prestige generator or grand prestige prize for completing and clearing out sectors. Ditto above especially exit button. Lost too much currency upgrading components only to return and they're still at level and currency is gone. Still love the game Last edited by Yow on Sun Jun 08, 2014 5:28 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Yah, I agree with this. They should have a book list, but in published order, not chronological. If you start with "By The Book" that is probably where you would end as well. ________________

I'd like the legendary level booster to be upgraded so it can power an entire system by itself, rather than needing two.
But that's just me wanting things in my own greedy self-interest. |

That sounds like an appropriate ability to reserve for a post-legendary option, in order to accommodate future gameplay expansion. |

True, but right now there's no point to having a legendary level booster rather than a purple one, in either case two of them are required to power a system fully. |

Or else some future upgrade will give us a new ship and raise it's max section level; so you'd need more than two purple level boosters to max them out. But yeah, for the moment the legendary/orange level boosters are a bit of a waste since one's not enough to max a section but two purples are plenty. This may exist and I just haven't found it yet, but I'd like a Legendary Upgrade component (or even a Rare one). All I've ever found more than one each of the uncommon "Upgrade Power Shunt" [+3 simultaneous component upgrade] and the very rare "Upgrade Ventricle" [+5 simultaneous component upgrades]. Being able to upgrade +8 components while only using one bridge slot would be nice. (But as least I can swap the two in, trigger the upgrades, and swap them back out) Oh, the ability to optionally sell components directly from the victory screen crate. When grinding it saves having to flip through my whole inventory to find that 12th rare component that I already have the legendary version of. (It's nice that the lowest rarity components are default selected, but that uncommon upgrade, or rare multi-touch fire fighting, components I want to hang onto limit it's usefulness. I also wouldn't mind the ability to tag components as favorites where it takes an extra step to sell them. (I've accidentally sold something important a couple times; despite the "are you sure" screen that pops up for each sale) |

There are missles for every subsystem, except bridge and engineering. I am thinking one for the bridge would be helpful, as the bridge enables the rolling to interpose the wedge. IMHO
