I've already posted somewhere in the Forum a picture of Victor McLaglen (known as Calvary Sergeant Quincannon in several of John Wayne's 1950's Calvary movies) and another one would be Mike Mazurki, who did bad guys, good guys, and almost everything in-between as having the perfect "battered-and-bedamned" look of a career P.O. who looks like he's enjoyed a few fights and drinks in his time, but still has intelligence and skills that some discount (to their regret).
Mazurki: McLaughin: Which is why I am happy with the drawing, it echos the pictures above, IMHO. It will be interesting to see who they cast when time comes to make the movie. ***********************************************

While I agree that the new Horace is quite the improvement and I too admired Borgnine's characters, I picture Charles Bronson….somehow the same craggy character in Death Wish(es) but younger. |

Yeah, Harkness is an elemental character. It's funny that we don't get to see much of that, just the civil parts with Scotty. Hmmm...
