I've suggested this before on an earlier casting thread, but how about:
Dichen Lachman http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1901842/?ref ... fc_cl_t142 or Stephanie Jacobsen http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1089338/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cl_t16 --------------------------------------------------

I've been of the opinion that we need to think of a role for Ioan Gruffudd, if for no other reason than simply for the masive shoutout casting him would be, but until I discovered the new series he stars in "Forever", I just couldn't think of an appropriate role.
Now? Ioan for Fritz Montoya - any takers? =-.--.--.*.--.--.-=

I've been championing the casting of Elizabeth Mitchell (aka Juliet Burke from Lost) as Sonja Hemphill for quite literally years and I will continue to champion it until the end of time. ~*~

In that height range, also: Sonya Balmores Chung: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1763040/ Not the full right ethnicity but tall and somewhat exotic looking, voting again for Adrianne Palicki: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1597316/ I think Stephanie Jacobsen would make a terrific Allison Harrington tho'. Question is, who should play Alfred? ---------------------

Having just discovered this show, I can only second this quite enthusiastically. Major, major kudos to Chloe for her epic acting chops - she's one of a handful of actresses whom I genuinely trust to have the right acting skillset as well as the right ethnic combo and age bracket. I could easily see her giving Honor all the command authority we love her for, while also being able to portray Honor's more vulnerable, human side. Definitely a short-lister in my book. The only issue is that S.H.I.E.L.D. is probably going to run for several more seasons, so she might be rather difficult to get as her character is so central to the show's arc. ~*~

I have always advocated for an UNKNOWN.
Why? No preconceived notions. No characters on which her performance can be based. Now I hear you going "huh?", but the role of Honor should go to someone to who has the talent but it not a know quality. Weber himself has said appearance is secondary in casting honor and that the personality and leadership style is important. The Mad Wizard has stated that Delenn from Babylon 5 is the best model for what Honor should be onscreen, as seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYloWBP79ro Ideally Honor's characteristics should be: 1) Female 2) late 20s - late 30s in age. 3) Not too light or too dark in complexion 4) 5'8" or taller I know Evergreen is working closely with BuNine on this, so that gives me hope for whoever gets the part. In my humble opinion, our future should be someone who is right now a starbucks barista, or waiting tables, or doing tv pilots which will never get picked up. Why? Because, being Honor will give her a big break that she put herself into an catapult her from obscurity. As fans, we can see the character we love on the screen, and a lucky lady gets a boost to her career. Everyone wins! _

Some suggested it on IMDb and after browsing a bit online I have to agree, Phoebe Tonkin would work look-wise IMO

Ummmm... not Delenn, but Susan Ivanova (Claudia Christian) <more snippage>
AFAIK, BuNine has no say in who is chosen to play whom. =================
