Seriously, I like 2 and 3 quite well-- 4 starts to look skin suit-y and 1 has all the problems mentioned in the original complaints (love the eyepatch, though). But I like the toned-down version in 2 if you still want to go the skirted route. It looks crisp and professional while still having your own spin on it. 3 & 4 are a bit tight; but as someone said above, I like the colors on 3. It reminded me most of the canon uniform, which is a very good thing.

And her face and attitude are excellent. I know it'll be a challenge to find our Honor, but I'm definitely seeing a move in the right direction now.

Thank you Evergreen for posting these. They look great, and its interesting to see the evolution.

Just one question from me, regarding the collar. We hear about the collar tabs indicating the rank in the books quite often, and also how the skinsuits helmet attach to the collar. With the lack of a collar in image 4, how do you plan to deal with the helmet attaching?

I do hope they'll return to black'n'gold color scheme of the books. And, as well, I hope they won't actually combine uniform and spacesuit - it would be kinda ridiculous, but by designs it seems they went this way.

My opinion has always been that accuracy on graphical details is just gravy compared to getting the Characters right. That said, this is much tastier gravy then what the comics offered XD
Hope to see your ideas on Nimitz eventually.

I can live with 3 and 4 as uniform and 2 is Steadholder Harrington in business mode...1 still looks off but with a couple of mods (IE: lose that blasted buckle) could be state dress.

I concur: All 4 are great improvements on the comic covers we complained about. I like all 4 but prefer the third. I love the third's color combo even though it's not entirely canon.

I also concur that 3 and 4 are so tight that they look like skinsuits. I would favor making no 3 the skinsuit and producing a more loosely fitting - but otherwise identical - uniform (about as loose as no 2) for daily duty.

If you go with 3 as a uniform not a skinsuit I wouldn't really have a problem either since it looks great. Wouldn't feel quite as realistic to me though. But if you decide looks trump realism in this case that'd be okay with me.

Although the images are not detailed enough so they'd be visible, collar insignia is somewhat important, and you seem to be lacking it, otherwise loose the belt buckle on three and I'd think you are close enough, might consider adding a mock turtle collar on the undershirt.

Oh yeah, these are finally getting it right.

Still, I'd prefer a black version of #4 with its markings and insignia but with the cut and perhaps the style of #2...maybe even sometbing like normal trousers and top, like with contemporary Royal Navy uniforms. I really don't want yet another tight spandex outfit, it's a silly sci-fi movie cliche now, and looks like something outof a superhero comic. THAT look should be reserved for the skinsuits.

i really like the look/cut of the 2nd (top right) uniform. Only thing id change on it is to add more yellow accent.

I'm assuming that the top right uniform is for non combat/everyday wear while the two bottom uniforms are ment as skinsuits.

I like the boots/legs of the bottom right picture but would prefer a darker color like the bottom left. I also like the red markings of the bottom left.

Lighter shades of blue for a uniform id think would be best served for grayson uniforms.

Of course if given my choice id just use the Bu9 concepts and call it a day.
