I am not happy Trump won.

But I would be much more unhappy if Clinton had won.

Actually, I think the whole country lost this election.

I called the whole country losing as soon as the outcome of the primaries was obvious.

Dems needed to nominate Sanders... but they refused to reform. And here we are.

At the risk of being a Pollyanna, I do have one wistful hope.

I hope that Trump's complete boorishness allows the rest of the country to re-engage in direct political conversation without the filter of political correctness.

That has stifled conversation and worthwhile discussions profoundly.

Amen to the sediment that PC is dead! If Clinton had not setup and illegal email server which was hacked by multiple governments, she would be Madame President. A person can blame Russia, the FBI, and/or illegal hackers but the facts are she created an illegal email server to hide what she was doing.

No, she did it because apparently, that was "normal" since under GW Bush´s regime.
And because computer support was messed up to silly levels, no one thought it their business to say otherwise.

So, if you want to blame her for it, then it´s really the preceeding regime that is at fault, as they literally started it.

And the actual FACT is that, it wasn´t illegal anyway. Because you know, if it was, then the investigators would have done something else than say "not illegal"...

Unlikely, but one can hope. Considering how Trump has made it even worse...

He actually hasn't made it worse. He has ignored the PC limitations in pretty offensive ways. That's the point. Freedom of speech is freedom to offend with speech within the confines of established law. Political Correctness attempts to inhibit disagreeable speech in other words to shut people up.

One can't incite riots/harm or cause harm by falsely yelling fire in a crowded theater. One is free to offend. No one is obligated to sit and listen to offensive speech, but it is allowable to be offensive in public areas.

No plea deals needed: they wouldn't waste their time,
any more than they've investigated Bill in the past six years.

Only immediate good I can possibly see is Clinton meeting with the Liberty Caucus and making a plea deal: she retires [graciously] from public life, they cease the endless congressional hearings on the "Gate" du jour. The Good part you ask? They need to find some new reason for pissing away entire congressional sessions by doing nothing. Now the GOP has to govern.

Pardons need not be accepted,
and sometimes are blatantly refused.
Or ignored.

Arguing "innocence" is easy. Everyone does it. :D
Even the innocent!

Trump will issue her a pardon. How better to fuck her up.

Hard to argue innocence if you were pardoned after all,
if you're not guilty why did you get a pardon?
