This time this important franchise distinction gets rather muddied. However, as bad as Trump is, he, (IMO) is slightly better than Queen Hillary.

Err...Did you mean the lessor of two evils or the lesser of two evils? :P I'm assuming lesser, but when it comes to American politics, who knows?

It's "lessor". If you lease your evils you get to upgrade every four years. Only problem is, you never own your evil, it's forever in the clutches of the bank.

Every time I see this thread, I think it is grammatically incorrect. We may have candidates for President, but none of them -- including third party candidates -- is "Presidential." They won't be even if they get elected. :(

Um, Trump is the one with more promises to violate the US constitution.

Including the second.

Nice to at least see ONE person where sanity prevails.

Calling Trump the less bad evil, it´s just incomprehensible...

Or a more direct link to the actual story
http://dailycaller.com/2016/07/24/leaked-dnc-documents-show-plans-to-reward-big-donors-with-federal-appointments/

The revelations continue. DNC and Clinton campaign discuss quid pro quo Federal appointments for donors well before the election and DNC nominations. Wasserman-Shcultz gets ouf-ed the DNC chair but gets the Chair of Hillary's campaign.

Last I recall selling federal appointments for donations was illegal. Of course we are talking about Hillary, so the FBI might be working to a different standard.

I keep finding it surreal that Trump somehow manages to coast by with the GOP base by declaring that while he may know crap all about almost anything that a president needs to know he DOES know how to get "the best people" so none of that matters.

And then we keep seeing things like this. First the entire circus sideshow lineup of RNC convention speakers... and now apparently the "best person" to deploy to Philly to rebut the former Secretary of State on Foreign Policy during the Democratic Convention is... Omarosa. One of the losers of Season 1 of The Apprentice.

I wonder if she's in line for a Cabinet appointment in a Trump White House? Because hell, why not right?

The parallels to Idiocracy are beginning to stop being funny and starting to seem disturbingly prophetic. Floating a proposal for a WWE wrestler for SecDef is probably right around the corner...

gcomeau.

I just love Bernie bailing on the Dem party after giving his speech at the convention. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he tried, failed and is exiting gracefully. Part of me would like to believe he was Hillary's stalking horse to head off Dem anti-establishment sentiment and got his payoff.

Either way it appears that Hillary is truly an awful campaigner. Bernie leaving the party underscores his tepid support of Hillary. His supporters are not persuaded to join the Dark Side with the Empress and Darth Kaine.

Monday should be interesting. If the polls show a bounce from her pre-RNC numbers, no harm no foul. It may well show that the anecdotal evidence of growing minority and Bernie supporters support for Trump are accurate. We'll see soon enough.

Did anyone watch Khizr Khan's speech at the DNC? I'm not even an American anc it made me cry. More, it was an absolute indictment of Trump's policy proposals, his character and his suitability to lead the greatest nation on Earth.

Cynical me, No doubt if Wikileaks hacked the Republican, Libertarian, or any other party's E-mails and voice-mails the same revelations would show. For those wanting to look at or hear the dirt this is the link to the voice mails from there you can go to the E-mails
