Looks about right... there's a reason Politifact gave their lie of the year to Trumps *entire campaign*.

And ask all those GOP voters why they're supporting him and what do you keep hearing? "He tells it like it is!" The disconnect between those people and reality has reached levels that should be the subject of in depth psychological and sociological studies for decades to come.

You can't post stuff from PolitiFact without being accused of "liberal media bias". That's the sorry state of discourse today -- the other guy's "facts" are always cherry-picked junk science slanted to fit an agenda, while MY "facts" are simple, self-evident truths. If you question MY "facts" you are a willing agent of evil, so there's no point in discussing it calmly. I'll just yell MY "facts" louder.

"PolitiFact" leans so far left their heads are lower than their feet.

If you are wrong, finding a bunch of people who agree with you does not make you right; it just means you're not wrong alone.

Yet there’s not a word about making the military spend money more efficiently, or reining in spending on overseas boondoggles.

They gave Kasich about the same score as Clinton and Sanders.

A claim based on what?

A claim that appears to be based on spin.

It appears that right leaning sites and organisations feel that since political fact checking sites tend to find that republicans lie 3 times as much as democrats that there is cherry picking of facts, or that different levels of accuracy are being applied or whatever.
They never seem to consider the basic premise: That the right wing lie 3 times as much as the left.

I personally take solice in knowing that the left also accuse politifact, and others, of right wing bias.
If you're upsetting both sides ...

Or you can listen to what they say / read statement/transcripts and decide for yourself. Isn't that what Democracy is supposed to be about?

For example the Washington Post has their transcript of an interview with Donald Trump on their website in its entirety. Rather than let the allegedly biased Politifact decide, read it for yourself and decide.

(Hopefully the link works this time. If not it's on the front page of the Washington Post website today).

How does that provide information on whether Politifact leans left or not?

(also, your link is behind a paywall)

It doesn't. It allows you to evaluate Trump on your own without someone else cherry picking the facts. You can read all the statements for yourself and then decide for yourself liar, liar pants on fire, mostly false, mostly true, true etc.

Washington Post has a limited number of free articles available per month. It's a per browser limit, so for example if you've used up your limit in Firefox, try Safari.
