Our right wingers both here and elsewhere complain about how political the process was. But can you imagine it otherwise? How does one have a nonpolitical process of impeachment? Unfortunately, any impeachment process, no matter how well justified is going to have a political vector.

Besides, you hurling "it was all political" charges at the Democrats is a case of the pot calling the kettle black. Face it. You were unwilling to see Trump convicted no matter what he may actually have done. You don't care. If you did you would have favored documents and witnesses in the Senate this week. Trump could quite literally murder someone without losing your support.

This saddens me. I won't say that I am disappointed because that would infer that I actually had hopes and expectations in this matter, I didn't. Your support of Trump rests solely in your perception that he is part of your tribe and you protect your own against outsiders, no matter what.

Fly saying "Given Trump's track record for confronting foreign aid recipients about corruption", is beyond hilarious.
Apart from the man's own record of financial endeavours, look at his international associates. His friends include Putin (reputed to be the real richest man in the world), NK's Kim, and the Saudis.

Funny how foreign aid gets cut and then Mexico and most of Central America starts doing something about the mass illegal migration issues in the United States. President Trump, please keep building that wall. Is it not weird that Trump starts investigating Ukraine and they start Impeachment proceedings. What was truly funny about the SOTU address was watching Speaker Nancy Pelosi tear up a copy of the speech that Trump presented. Wow, that was almost like she and the rest of the Democratic Leadership are worried about the their dirty little secrets being exposed. It's almost time for the main event. Now, a few Republicans are not sleeping too well at night. Their Misdeeds are just as bad.

See, I told you that Trump knowingly stepped on that trap planted by the Demoncrats after he disarmed the trap. That is why their was no Impeachment Conviction and really no real charges. So who is ready for round 2 because it is coming? By the way Demoncrats, here is props for the Demons for antagonizing Chief Justice Roberts. Senator Warren really annoyed the CJ with that nasty little question at the Impeachment trial.

smr. "keep building that wall". He hasn't started. Regular scheduled repairs to the existing fence don't count.

Yeah... It does...

It's not like it's common knowledge that Trump's legal affairs the last 40 years are filled with a multitude of lawsuits. :roll:
