Opportunity and the understanding that stupidity or militancy will not be tolerated will attract immigrants.

The people are nuked, so no effective defence. Trillions of dollars of oil are up for grabs. I'd go and get the nod from the CI* and the Bu** family, recruit some hard assed mercenaries, sort out the effete current rulers, and install my own dynasty. Need to get in before a number of other private armies that have already made squillions from similar deals.

I was not advocating nuking the entire population, just the troublesome peasantry.
The elites, the security forces and the military would be spared.

Interesting how you spin your conspiracy theories focusing on the Bush family. The most recent mercenary operation to replace a ruler of an oil rich country so as to secure lucrative contracts was waged by the French, the British, Obama and Hillary Clinton against Daffy Gadaffy. It has been disaster for Libyan oil production.

Hmm fly the Islamists have Pakistan and its nukes. Using tramp steamers deliver atomic weapons to sea port cities. Blam,San Diego, Los Angles, Seattle, San Francisco, Boston, New York, Norfolk, Charleston, Mobile, New Orleans and, Huston could be gone with the Nuclear Wind. Not to mention using the river systems thus Portland, Chicago and, Detroit could join the target list. With nuclear weapon proliferation MAD still applies. Remember some of these people wear clothing by DuPont to kill enemies

I was not advocating that the US nuke the populations of oil rich countries. I was advocating that the rulers of the oil rich countries would nuke their own populations.

Now that Obama has surrendered to Iran's demands to have nuclear weapons, the Pakistanis are opening their nuclear weapons bizarre to Gulf States.

Those who pay attention now understand why Gov Palin choked on the Bush Doctrin question. She is very much a neoisolationist who advocates domestic energy development as an alternative to foreign intervention to secure oil.

I can't resist the temptation to dredge up the past:

On a serious note, if you want to build a country, try expelling the foreign workers who now perform All of the menial jobs that your welfare dependant citizens eschew

Then repeal the welfare state
