Thank you and i hope you'r right, because the reaction of the world to RuSSia's actions in Prydnistrovia(Moldova), Abkhazia and South Ossetia make me think different.

If RuSSia will get away in this case we all wake up in the new world, because no borders will be granted unless your country have nuclear weapon.

His bad English is better than mine, at least in spelling, LOL.

No one is likely to forget this Krim invasion anytime soon.

It is probably not a lot of consolation but I am pretty sure Russia will find out such things have long-term consequences.

I'm from Ukraine.
Crimea is already invaded by russian forces. And russian forces are concentrating all over eastern border of my contry.
Invaders are wearing unmarked uniform, but its obivious from their (exclusive, used only by russian forces)weapons and equipment that they are russist.

Sorry for my bad english. Not my native language, you understand.

IIRC Ukraine relinquished 120 SS-18 missiles plus a few dozen more modern SS-24s. The SS-18s gave Ukraine the third largest nuclear arsenal in the world.

Someone has just informed me that Ukraine also got persuaded to relinquish it's conventional armaments in 2008. I will have to research this.

Gun control really works!

Does it not suck to be conned into disarmament?

This topic was already dubiously linked to the Honorverse from the start, and now the discussion has nothing to do with it at all, so it's been moved to the Politics subforum.

Another good source.

I would wager that Weber is watching the Ukraine situation with an eye on how it can be reflected in theBeawulf situation.

I can assure you the Daily Mail isn't a good source. It's a sensationalist, hypocritical trash rag which believes everything gives you cancer and the biggest stain on British news since News of the World went down.
