I too am hoping he stays dry. The path keeps moving, but looks like it will go just south of him

Keep Safe and evacuate if ordered. My family had to swim through polluted water to safety during Hurricane Harvey. (Now, we were not ordered to evacuate but we still had 5 feet of water within the house.) My thoughts and prayers are with the people in the path of storm. Material possessions can be replaced and new memories created but live can not be replaced.

Some people wonder why others have boats.

I used to get made fun of having a raft and a manual pump kept in the attic of my house. During Hurricane Harvey, my house flooded and the generator blew due to rising waters. Who had the ability to paddle to safety...my family. Needless to say, I am no longer made fun for using some common sense disaster preparations. |

See I'm too lazy to prepare for any sort of disaster, that's why I'm glad I live in an area with no history of natural disasters, well except for mild flooding. Unnatural disasters now that's another thing since I can see a nuclear reactor from my bedroom window... Ahh well, if it melts down I'll just hope for ghoulism. |
