Cthia, I had an interesting little tid bit for you, there's a video on You Tube of Carlos Santana where he says that he considers Orianthi as a guitarist who is worthy of "carrying the torch" as his successor for his guitar "crown"

There is also a video of Santana and Orianthi jamming together. They are really shredding it in the video.

For anyone reading this post who's interested, Orianthi played lead guitar in the band that is named after her. She did lead vocals, and was also the song writer. Her band's albums are totally worth checking out. She is currently in a band with Richie Sambora called RSO. They had been a couple for several years, but have just recently broken up, although they have no intention of breaking up the band.

BTW, mycall4me, you didn't warn us that Orianthi is smoking hot!!!

Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense

For anyone reading these posts who are interested, check out the "According To You" vid. Orianthi is especially hot in that vid. Also check out her You Tube channel. She's uploading acoustic music and songs from home while she is in quarantine, for all of the rest of us who are in quarantine also. Just one so far, but it has "part one" in the title so there should be more. She's an amazing guitarist, singer, and songwriter, and if you haven't looked her up yet, I highly recommend her! :D :P :!:

My musical taste heavily skews towards Metal (specifically, Black, Death, Prog), Hard Rock, Punk, and Post Rock; I am absolutely missing stuff from the more acoustic side of things.

These people are excellent, and I thank you for pointing them out.

And I lean to the singer songwriter with some blues and the heavy metal from my youth sounds more of the same old same old with a bit of polished tricks but...
there is no accounting for taste ;-)
