Part of the problem is the terms for royalty. First line First page:

Note the Kaiser is saying he had a green light to start the war from the King of England. The date of the note August 10, 1914 written day month in roman numerals last two numbers of year IE 10 VIII 14. Interesting how many people can't read long hand now, in fact they are no longer teaching it in many of our schools so they will no longer be able to read original historical documents. Shame Say I!
