While I not only sympathize, I share your desire. Nevertheless the title probably cant be chosen until the draft outline starts being fleshed out. Since the War God's Own series sequel is next to be written, it may be a long time before Safehold's next effort starts getting ready. |

David Weber doesn't know what the final title will be for Number 6 (I asked).
He also isn't going to let us know the "working title" this soon. He had problems with a working title leaking out and people were wondering if they had missed a book. Also, he hasn't said when Number 6 will be out.

What is his writing schedule for 2012?
THe next Bahzell book and then HH, Safehold or something different? I am thinking that a whole book is a bad publishing choice for his style - it should be published in smaller chunks but a lot faster. Think about the differene between a series and a whole blockbuster - I think a "series" style would be better. |

He's been very consistent with a Safehold book per year, so my guess is we'll see the next one in about a year.

Off Armageddon Reef's title is clearly from the book's content.
The next four (and sorry for the 'wall of text'):
Clearly, DWW is using phrases (not necessarily titles) from old hymns. He may pick another from one of these three hymns. I could see the use of "thy deepest distress" or "My righteous, omnipotent hand" |

"The rivers of woe" comes to mind. |

A few years back, DW talked about using "Yet saints their watch are keeping" as a title but he may have changed his mind.
