I know RFC said it would probably be Q3 2018 but Bean has just announced that it will be OCt 2018.

I'm hoping they make the E-arc available from April to tie in the anniversary that RFC was originally aiming for.

Speak for yourself. I am hoping they release the EARC this December so I can buy myself a Christmas present. :)

Missed Q3 by that >| |< much. Don't count on eArc before Fall Semester.

I don't think he ever said Q3. He said the second half of 2018, and then also mentioned that if he turned in the MS. on that day (he was not finished yet) it would be published end of October 2018. So October 2018 is good and is in fact ahead of schedule.

My personal preference would be that the eARC would be reduced early with an inflated price tag so that people like me could spend like $500 to have the book NOW. Not going to happen so we wait.
