so its been awhile since i asked.
Anybody know what himself is upto? Last i heard was that he was recovering well from the eye surgery. But i can find no reports from Mysticon, no updates as to whats being activily worked on (if anything). John Ringo posted about the fubar on empire of man 5 that happened due to both having the wrong email for the other (thank goodness Sharon pays attention to Johns FB posts) in the decade or so i have been reading Himself's work this is the only time i can recall where there hasn't been a "this is the current writing schedule and rough plan for the next year to 2 of work" so anyone got news? |

while i'd love to get there its not in the cards, unless he visits somewhere in the nyc/ hudson valley area i'm gonna miss it for the forseeable future. And honestly the last like 6 cons hes been to i have been unable to find any coherent reports from anyone on data.
You have any news Duckk?

According to posts on the RMN fansite FB page. RFC is diligently working on the last Honorverse series novel due out in time for the twenty-fifth anniversary. He has been informed by his doctors to take it easy. This order is being enforced by Sharon Weber with the assistance of a Louisville Slugger. This information was posted by Sharon herself.

Great news! This is the time I'd expect him to be working on it to avoid the total mess of the last couple of books.

well thats good news. working on now assume a slower pace then normal means done by end of june or july, which means published to be 25th anni is spring 2018 i think? i fully expect it to be a very very long book (possibly longest yet from himself) and with that kind of lead time it might be the heaviest edited of himselves books in a good decade and will hopefully resolve many plot threads for us |

Hello,
as much as i wait for his next book, most important is, that David is feeling well.
2 months ago i had a cataract surgery by myself - it is not fun. But it is noting to be afraid of - meanwhile. Hopefully it was nothing more serious. |

I agree wholeheartedly, no surgery is fun for the patient (been there too many times.) Had cataract surgery in both eyes myself, no fun at the time as you say but now, two years down the road, not needing "soda bottle bottom" glasses any more is still FUN! I only need Dollar Store reading glasses now. I didn't know RFC's problem was eye related, I hope he had an excellent outcome too. ****
Just my opinion of course and probably not worth the paper it's not written on. |
