Hi, I'm trying to get a list of the Manticoran fleets and their numbers. So far, I have:

Home Fleet (aka First Fleet?): Defending the MBS and wormhole junction
2nd Fleet: Defending Yeltsins Star, but I guess later been obsoleted by Grayson Home Fleet and Protectors Own?
3rd Fleet: Defending Trevors Star, St. Martin and wormhole terminus
4th Fleet: ???
5th Fleet: ???
6th Fleet: Offensive fleet to conquest Trevors Star. Then abandoned, as 3rd fleet is for protection there?
7th Fleet: ???
8th Fleet: Offensive fleet against Haven, mostly commanded by Honor Herself
9th Fleet: Silesia
10th Fleet: Talbott Quadrant

Basilisk has only been defended by a task force, as most of the other termini, not by a fleet.

I quickly deployed the text search :D

Can't find a RMN 2nd fleet mentioned after D'Orville's protecting Yeltsin early on (though there's a Peep 2nd fleet later on)

The only 4th fleet I can find is the Peep one - mentioned in At All Costs as having been Tourville's at Marsh (but other placed call that the Peep 2nd fleet)

House of Steel says fifth fleet is BuShip's Logistics Command's operational formation -- "tasked with maintaining, organizing, and deploying all units of the fleet train (even if they are detached and assigned to other numbered fleets) and with meeting the logistics requirements of the other operational fleets." (But all other mentions of 5th fleet seem to be the Peep one)

Can't find any mentions of (anybody's) 7th fleet

Toll of Honor has a brief mention of the RMN Fourth Fleet as being led by Admiral Kuzak and operating in coordination with White Haven's Sixth Fleet early in the war to strike targets around Trevor's Star and Barnett. So maybe it was later redesignated as Third Fleet and assigned to defend Trevor's Star following its capture.

really, it depends on when you are discussing. From Jayne's RMN about the pre-war fleets:

The Manticoran Navy is divided into two Fleet Districts: Manticore (Manticore A) and Gryphon (Manticore B), each under the command of a Fleet Admiral who reports directly to the First SpaceLord.
There were rumors of plans to create a third fleet district—
Basilisk—but they were stymied during the tenure of Admiral Sir Edward Janacek (ret) as First Lord. Janacek, a staunch supporter of the Conservative Alliance, regarded Basilisk as an embarrassment rather than an asset.
The Manticore fleet district has historically contained the First Fleet (referred to as Home Fleet) and many of its units are detached on convoy escort duties. The Gryphon district is the home of Second Fleet, which has historically been the striking arm of the Manticoran Navy. Prior to the start of King Roger’s military buildup, there was little need for additional fleet level formations, as task forces could be detached from Home Fleet or Second Fleet on an as-needed bases.

RFC said "refitting a Beowulfan SD to Manticoran standards would be just as difficult as refitting a standard SLN SD to those standards. In other words, it would be cheaper and faster to build new ships."
