Just noticed on Amazon a new Infinite Stars anthology, subtitled "Dark Frontiers". The book description says:
With a new introduction and a short story by David Weber, the authors include Becky Chambers (Wayfarers), Curtis C. Chen (Kangaroo), Orson Scott Card (Ender), Susan R. Matthews, Larry Niven and Steven Barnes (Dream Park), Tanya Huff (Confederation), Jack Campbell (Lost Fleet) and many more. All new stories are exclusive to this volume for 18 months Anyone got an idea on what this story is about? In the previous Infinite Stars, we got "Our Sacred Honor", but the book description explicitly talked about the Honorverse. I'm hoping for more Haven short stories, like the last three. But didn't David say once that he might tell the story of Alfred Harrington's marine time and how he got the Osterman Cross? Publication date: Nov 5, 2019 (book pre-ordered) |

Update: the book is out. The story is not in the Honor Harrington universe. It's in Keith Laumer's "Bolo" universe.

"The Traitor", originally published in _Last Stand_ (the 4th Bolo anthology) by Baen Books in March 1997. ----------------------------

Weber wrote a fantastic novel in the Bolo Series. THE ROAD TO DAMASCUS was awesome. |

"Road To Damascus" was Ringo & Evans, Not Weber.

Weber's novel in the BOLOverse was "Old Soldiers", which shows the further Adventures of Maneka Trevor and Benji from the story "With your shield" - which is part of the BOLO!-anthology. |

I believe Mr Weber wrote a short story named "Miles to Go" as part of the "Bolos III: The Triumphant" anthology created by Keith Laumar and edited by Bill Fawcet.
