Are you trying to tell me women don't have that much influence over men? Especially young, single men?
Even I remember that much from high school.
In our 20's, my Brother in law was the lead singer in a popular cover band in our city. Some friends of mine and I went out to hear him and harrassed him during a break for not playing much classic rock, but only the newer, shallow popish tunes.
And he explained the Theory of Dance Club economics to us: Play the songs the girls want to dance to. If the Girls come, the boys will follow. The boys buy drinks, the Bar makes money. The Bar then pays the Band.
The better the dance music, the more Girls. The more Girls, the more Boys. The more Boys, The more the Bar makes money. The more the Bar makes money, the more the Bar pays the Band. - So we're not going to hear any Zepplin.
