Honestly, I think I would be a pretty guy option to play Harrington.
Okay, okay... I know there would be some problems. For instance, I have blue eyes, blond(ish) hair, no Asian heritage, and I'm slightly overweight. Oh, also I'm not an trained actor plus I'm a guy. BUT... we are about the same height, so I've got that going for me. |

Well due to the nature of the books being a ROYAL navy and the ships entitled HMS (esp with fearless) then by rights the role should go to a BRITISH actress. Please no american ones (with the fake English Dick-van dyke school of cockney accents please heheh)
Lets face it only a British acress can project the right ambience suitable for the whole theme of the series. |

So what current British actress do you suggest? And who says that just because there is a constitutional monarch it has to be a British actress (and a British cast, in that case)? There are several nations that have that kind of government. Maybe she should be Swedish or Nowegian, or Dutch, or Danish, or Spanish, or Japanese? Thai, too?

1.) The books are high influenced by C.S forrester and the Horatio Hornblower series. Tactics and language used were employed by the British navy. HMS Fearless has been a British ship of the line for a long time (awaiting the next incarnation though) An American would never and could never fufill this role. However having said that there could always be the usual Hollywood racist statement that the bad guys are always British? :( and the last brasses me off a little:D hahaha |

I would say Rachel Weisz. She smart, gorgeous, and can act. Sure she's too short, but no actress is going to be perfect. |

And Daniel Craig as White Haven? As rfc would say, "snort." |

VRW: sorry I was a bit oblique. Craig is Rachel Weisz' husband. In real life, as they say. So I was kidding, but hmmmm. |
