If you don't think that at least one of Honor Harrington-Alexander's young siblings is going to be Navy-mad, you are smoking something quite high quality!

You have noticed the part where they worship the ground she walks on, right?

I'm laughing so hard it's difficult to respond.
I thought this would ruffle someone's feathers.
And believe you me, I feel the same way.
In fact when I consider that their favorite sister is going to be the Salamader, it's hard to imagine both of them not wanting to be like her.

But I was only alluding to my (hopefully just imagined) fear that those certain pesky Grayson Keys will have something to say about it. Since the whole idea behind Alfred and Alison conceiving the sweet little Harrington Salamanders was to appease those same pesky Keys, because Honor had no heirs.

Of course now that Honor and Hamish had Raoul things have changed on that front.

However, if I'm not mistaken (and it'd only surprise the hell out of you if I am) Honor's siblings were born on Grayson. Now I know that shouldn't matter, and it doesn't matter, to me. But those pesky little Keys are not going to want their own to join the Navy. IMHO

And if the Keys didn't raise a stink about it they'll probably insist on three-forths of the available armsmen on Grayson, prompting any kid to not want to leave Grayson.

On that front thank God Raoul was born on Manticore.
I love the Graysons mind you, but some day those Keys are going to catch someone a homicide charge!

It would be me, if I could talk NASA into giving me a ride!

Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense

I also think she could have fun playing Cathy Montaigne (who is, like Elizabeth, somewhat older than Honor). For that matter, as a nod to RoseandHeather, we could always think about her for Estelle Matusko, yes . . . ?

Claudia as Cathy. We never "saw" it in its full glory, but the scene of Cathy being tossed out of Lords would be a nice webisode to warm up to the character...

Anyone who saw the behind the camera stuff on B5 knows that Claudia is a hoot.

I think it's called an epiphany!

Suddenly, I realize how important my job as a Cupist really is, when I asked myself "self, how many offspring are out there to be groomed to take over in time?

Honor has offspring.
Honor's parents have offspring though I don't think they'll be joining the Navy--Grayson or RMN. Of course I could always be wrong.

What other potential naval kids are out there?

Your job has just taken on a very serious tone Cupists...
We need Navy Babies!

If you think I don't have my own ideas as to which of my beloved pairings has children of their own....

And suffice it to say that Dame Amandine Corvisart deserves a little recognition - in the form of having babies named after her. I wonder if you can figure out who little Mandie's parents are??

In other words, I thought I had the same security clearance as you rose, but I can't find it anywhere, though try hard I did!

So..do tell. Do.

Besides, your question is unfair, as you and NortonIDaughter have always been my resident tac-witches.

Did that sorry ass Janacek cause me to lose you too!

I'm going to bring back a character from an older book: Captain Margaret Fuchien. She impressed the hell out of me in HAE and I'm wondering if she ever decided to leave Hauptman's employ and join up in the Service.

Any ideas on who would make a good companion for her? I open the floor...

Oh, do use your brain! I've hardly made a secret of the one couple I want to happen more than anything. Who would be most likely to name their daughter after Dame Amandine? Who was, if you'll recall, a Foreign Office diplomat assigned to the Talbott Quadrant??

Quit feeling sorry for yourself. Even half a brain should be able to figure this one out.
