Hamish? After his wife's accident?
Cup of tea? Yes, please.

That's Right! Give the Hu-mon a Prize!
That was an easy on, but no one tried for it.

No, it is not about Honor in this case. It's actually about a he.

Who is, Carolyn Wolcott?

Bop Bop
I'm sorry that not the answer we were looking for. Also, it was a he, not a she.

Can't be Carolyn Wolcott, as the subject is a he. I'd say Oscar St Just, but "Ain't no sunshine when he's home", so that can't be it.

Hamish Alexander about Honor Harrington?

And now I'm back in the game:

I've borrowed it so I can spend it all right here with you...

Don't think so, since he explicitly says it is not about Honor.

I should have said that she is not the one gone, not that she might not be involved.

Sorry no, like I said, he is a person who does not "return."

As for yours could be the Legislaturist, but doubt you were going that way.
Maybe Hamish and Emily?

Javier and Eloise?

And no - the verse refers to a couple who knows that every moment they have could be their last.

Yikes, if they are supposed to be a couple, and he doesn't return -- trying to decide if that means dead or not. If not, Cathy and Anton?

If he's dead and they WERE a couple... hmmm, dunno. If they're not a couple but he's dead, Alistair McKeon.

And now for my entry...

"You walked into the party like you were walking onto a yacht
Your hat strategically dipped below one eye
Your scarf it was apricot
You had one eye on the mirror as you watched yourself gavotte
And all the girls dreamed that they'd be your partner
They'd be your partner, and...

You're so vain, you probably think this song is about you
You're so vain, I'll bet you think this song is about you
Don't you? Don't You?"
