You're always pulling rank rose.
By the way, is rose ok, or heather?

I'm generally known as "Rose" around the interwebs.

Oh, I have other plans for Ms. Phillips. Those plans rhyme with "Darner Faslet".

What on Earth did those Havenites bribe you with?
Was it...roses? Citizen rose!?

But really rose, if David takes an unexpected turn with any of your darlings...

Ah, but don't you see? The beauty of being me is that, barring pairing my darlings up with an entirely new character, there's nothing RFC can come up with that I haven't at least thought about.

Besides, "[darling]/eternal happiness" leaves quite a bit of room for improvisation. :P

You know rose, with the introduction of one Herlander Simoes into the mix. It seems that there's someone else for Shannon.

He's a geek, just like Shannon. Nothing like common ground to sew two hearts together.

I wonder if he'll be allowed at Bolthole in time.

It escapes me just how many people escaped Cerberus.
I can only imagine how starved for affection most are.
I know I would be, cooped up on some prison planet for decades!

Hmm, IIRC the prisoners were in co-ed camps with birth control to prevent unwanted (by the authorities) children. Thus they had relationships, strong long term relationships that no doubt continued after the escape. Thus I don't see them as starved for affection.

Herlander? With Shannon? One, they're far too alike. Two, Sonja would never allow it.

Don't you think they are less alike, than Shannon and Sonja?

Besides, it's not a problem that a little ménage à trois won't solve.

Not at all. Sonja has all the social graces of a particularly overexcited terrier. She wants to turn current tactical doctrine on its head, shake it vigorously, and see what falls out - and that's exactly what she does.

Shannon doesn't offend people unintentionally, so much as she completely forgets they exist. She thinks in terms of adaptation, not revolution.

Yes, in a lot of ways they're incredibly similar, but the way they think - and approach problems - is quite different... and yet they're a perfect complement to each other both in and out of the bedroom.
