It is possible that the Alignment has sleeper agent Alpha Lines scattered all over the place. We have the example of the RF as a focus to be implimented with the destruction of the SL.
The Aldermani might have been beneath the Alignment's notice until they got into the alliance with Manticore. Just another neobarb empire out on the fringe that might be interesting as a source of information but ultimately going to be subsumed into Haven - if the initial Alignment plan had worked as anticipated. Who else? It's not like the Alignment truly had any practical limits on numbers of agents to plant, more the ability to keep track of them and make sure they didn't go native or just manage not to pass along the critical information to their children for all sorts of reasons. Planting Alpha Lines in a bunch of Verge dictatorships doesn't seem very productive as they would have to survive said dictatorships efforts to root out potential problems. Inserting Alpha Lines into various TransStellars could be interesting. Those are mostly some sort of corporate semi-nations which may be family controlled at the top but, again, you have to be fairly careful about messing with the leadership and the top couple of layers of actual administration. Being an Alpha and rising in a TransStellar should work but you have to finely balance that whole personal/family ambition thing with the need for the company to make money. It gets difficult to send assets off, even on Black Ops, without some part of Sr. Management signing off and committing credits. It would give the Alignment a different mode of mobility since there would be legitimate reasons for corporate people to move around both withing the holdings and to investigage both new markets and oppertunities. |

Logically the most throughly penetrated planet would be Beowulf. Not only is that where the MA started, it's been their primary target for centuries and it has been stated that not all the people who believed in more extensive changes than the current Beowulf code allowed left. In addition it has been shown that the immigration and internal security forces of Beowulf are pathetic.
So any tech or info shared with Beowulf is likely rapidly shared with the MA. |

were pathetic when Alfred and Alison met but that is 50 t-years ago minimum who knows how things have changed. admittedly it is disturbing that the one planet which focused on manpower/mesa didn't have a clue about the alignment but to be fair the MA put a lot of effort into the deception |

Except we appear to have been shown that almost nothing shared by Manticore with Beowulf has made it into the hands of the Alignment. They don't have Ghost Ryder, the FTL, the RMN tec DDM, MDM, the levels and types of automation (and software), the LAC designs and related. Same for the tactical information. Unless, of course, all of that has been sucked to Darius and is being encorporated into the LD's and their generation of lesser and support warships. Which is POSSIBLE but "somehow" all of the conversations we have seen from the Alighment Leadership not only hasn't mentioned any of this but as Manticore (and Haven) introduced new tech into the fighting, it appears to have come as much of a surpirse to the Detweilers as it did to Haven (and Manticore as the case may be) so they don't seem to be getting MILITARY tech from Beowulf just like they are not getting it from Haven and Manticore (or Erwhon or the Aldermani). Business information certainly, biomedical information probably, but very little (we aren't seeing any) political and military information. Very odd. |
