As a Cachat fan, I love "From The Highlands" and "Fanatic". While I recognize the marginal canonicity of "A Grand Tour", I have been hoping that Sir Hakon Nessler would show up in the main line novels' political scenes. I just like the guy.
IMHO, "A Ship Called Francis" was a rather pathetic attempt at lowbrow humor, almost a parody. "Let's Go To Prague" was way funnier without demeaning itself. |
