There's no text evidence he tried to claim that Honor seduced him into the women's locker room and then proceeded to use her advantages of heavy-world strength and unarmed combat skills to beat him within an inch of his life while he was otherwise distracted by almost two meters of very nude, very wet and very soapy midshipwoman.

Trying to use that as a defense is not likely for someone like Pavel to do or let his attorney do. Shows too many bad judgement calls and then there is the whole "beat the crap out of him" part. His ego wouldn't allow it and bringing up the actual reason that he suffered those interesting injuries at the Academy. It also might bring up a very large number of "me too" accusations if even only in the shadier side of the Star Kingdom press as the tabloids go running to discover just how much a miserable bastard he was.
