Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson (born 15 April 1990) is an English actress and model. Watson rose to prominence playing Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film series. Lifted from Wikipedia. She would be my choice if I were casing director, experienced series actress, and young at age twenty one. See she even looks good in short hair. A little make up for Asian eyes. Looks athletic too. As seen above with her co-stars not real short for a female. Some platform boot action, and she would tower over males on set. CPO Poker Mind PS Self confident with just enough snerky-ness to pull off Honor Harrington I think. CPO Poker Mind and, Mangy Fur the Smart Alick Spacecat.

I just can't see Emma Watson doing it. Maybe as another female in the universe, but not Honor. One she appears too small to me, two she doesn't really have the stage presence (to me) to carry a lead role like this, and three I'm not a huge fan of her generally (her acting in HP 4-6 made me gnash my teeth, thoug she was better in 7 and 8).

Emma would make a good Abigail, but then she may be a bit old by the time that story turns up in the series.
And isn't THAT an interesting question. How much work is DW going to have to put in with screenwriters to get all the necessary bits from the pub of the first anthology onwards into the linear movie development, to include the diversions of CoS line and SoS line? And can we get the female lead from Kick-Ass to play Helen Zilwiki (Jr), as of From the Highlands onwards? dreamrider |

I support pokermind emma watson would be a good choice I can see her very easily on my mind picture being honor, don't judge her because the only famous movies she got were the HP series they are YA, there are several actors and actresses who no one thought that they could do a good job on serious papers because they started on YA movies or some other minor role, 1 case I remember was Harrison Ford, I wont explain why I think so, every person has their own actors who they investigate and know.
Also if Harrison Ford was a little bit younger I would also put it on this movies, he is an experienced actor on scifi movies. I say this because a lot of actors don't do a good job and then the movie depends more on the CGI and the special effects than on the movie cast. He is one of the few who I see can drive the movie forward without depending on special effects. Other actors I see could be good for the movie: Jim Parsons (he is an excellent actor), Robert Downey Jr, Jhonny Deep (I see him as Tourville, with all and the pirate outfit as David Weber once described Tourville he was the image of a Pirate), Keira Knightley (good solid support actress I think), Maggie Gyllenhaal (I see maggie as Alice Truman don't ask me why), Tom Felton (I see him as one of the ensign or one of the lieutenants in OBS with prolong they would look maybe like him, venizelos or webster), Kathryn Bridget Moynahan, Cate Blanchett (I think of cate as Baroness Medusa, the governor on Basilisk and later on the governor on the talbott quadrant), Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, Samuel L. Jones III (maybe as Michael Winton, prince of manticore), Allison Mack (I like to see her as Honor's mother i think she could play the devious petit libertine mother very well, remember that Honor's mother look mid thirties so with some hollywood magic and makeup she would be good for the paper), Genelle Williams (I think she could do Queen Elizabeth III), Berry Hale. I know I'm missing several characters and most probably a lot of this actors are too expensive but I like this choices and this are the usual choices I make when I'm reading the books to imagine all the scenes, the only one I really don't know what actress put on that paper is Michelle Henke, I always imagine her as a young Nichelle Nichols. P.D. If any of you have a time machine on their basement go to the 1966 or so and bring young Nichelle Nichols. (Those that remember original star trek will know why). |

Short of Evergreen explaining themselves directly to us on these boards, I no longer have any faith that they're committed to making a movie and related products that have any relevance to the Honorverse. |

I recommend Wikipedia Images they come across and can be seen, Right click on photo left click on copy image location, then in Img right click and left click on paste.
Maggie Quigley 32 years old Jamie Chung 28 years old Asian. but I think too old for whole series, I would say this about anyone over twenty-five (25) years old. CPO Poker Mind CPO Poker Mind and, Mangy Fur the Smart Alick Spacecat.

Asians tend to age better, especially if they take care of themselves. Look at Gong Li, she's 45 but you wouldn't think she was a day over 25. ===

If she can act, how about the 6 ft 1 in tall, 22 year old pro golfer Michelle Wie?
Note that the guy next to her is standing on a box. |
