Hmmmmm, guess I should have made it worth more.

OK, here's a hint--they both are Armsmen for Honor, but what I am looking for is a shared-destiny is the only word I can think of.

So since I've given a hint, you now have to include the book in your response.

What is 'who are two of Honor's armsmen that died in the Battle of Blackbird?'

Yep--that is what I was looking for--but you got the wrong Battle!!!!

Then by the rules of Jeopardy my answer is wrong. I do not get the points and the question is still open awaiting someone else to buzz in.

Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense

Double Jeopardy (because I don't know either)

At the conclusion of this particular battle represented Honor's biggest jump in rank.
Hmm, that's a tricky one. I don't recall any direct battlefield promotions, and it's arguably confused over her being in two navies.

I could make a reasonable argument for either
a) 1st Hancock (RMN Captain Senior Grade to GSN Admiral. Of course there was an entire book in between; but no battles that Honor fought in)
b) Battle of Cerberus (RMN Commodore to full Admiral; when she was appointed to ATC)

(But because it's arguable, and not directly battle related I'm not asking either in the form of a question )

Excellent research. But I'm afraid the answer we're looking for is "What is the Battle of Cerberus?"

You will be invited to return on a future show.
Now we see the importance of official question makers and Jeopardy Judges.

I would have said "What was the gun battle with Pavel Young?" Captain SG to Admiral. It was a larger jump than commodore to admiral. Nobody ever said naval battle, and even though it was supposed to be a duel, it wasn't.

Good point!
Looks like someone else will be invited back on a future show.

Take Battles for 800

Leading up to this battle is the first time Honor had to pull rank.
