I sorely miss the rapport of Honor and Andrew. They came to know each other well. I often thought LaFollet's love for Honor bordered love. I'm still not certain he wasn't simply good at hiding the fact that he'd fallen in love. I kept awaiting RFC's quill to confirm it. RFC probably had to kill Andrew off, because the chemistry present surely would have caused a spark.
Andrew would never have acted upon it. His armsman code of honor would never have permitted it.

That said, fallsfromtrees is right - even if she'd been interested, he never would have acted on his feelings.
I thought it was fairly obvious too Rose. And the two of you most probably are right that he never would have acted on it. You just don't mix business with pleasure.
His armsman code
would have forbidden it. Even beyond that would have been his Grayson upbringing, and something about taking advantage of a woman weakened by circumstances, by the very one who swore to protect her. Tester's teachings superseded an armsman's code. Though both would conspire to prevent Andrew from taking advantage of it I agree. But it never stopped me from yelling "Kiss already!"
And Honor is so beautiful inside. Andrew was with her for so long and saw her handle everything life's SD's launched at her with aplomb. How can a man not fall in love with someone so beautiful inside?
"I love her for who she is on the inside," and "She's beautiful on the inside" happen to be two common cliches that just so happens to truly fit Honor.
She was so beautiful inside that her crews would gladly follow her to Hell and back. And back again. Or Hades, whichever is closer.
