Michelle Henke.

The solution to your quandary is Michelle Henke.

You know, every time this pairing is proposed (apropos term) I get a kick in the giggles department. It's such an interesting configuration that leads me down Alice's wonderland of thoughts.

Scenario: Tourville and Henke has tied the knot. Just in time for her to assume the throne. That would make her Queen Henke, yes. But Crown Prince Consort Tourville? Hot damn! Talk about a lively Mount Royal Palace.

I'm sure Honor can finally get some comedic pay back for all of the ribbings she endured at the hands of Michelle.

A dashing cigar-wielding Prince. hmm

And who (RnH withstanding) would ever have foreseen a Havenite raised to the status of Manticoran Crown Prince Consort?

And later if hostilities resume between the two. Oh my. That scenario promises to make damn interesting press.

I wonder if Michelle would even be allowed to assume the throne married to a foreigner. What are the laws? A commoner, yes. But a non-Manticoran commoner and a former enemy?

Sure is an interesting pairing though. And they are perfect for each other.

Michelle as Queen would definitely need to be bonded.

I wonder how 'as effectively' Elizabeth would have ruled without being bonded? She draws plenty tempering of her steel from the support of Ariel I presume - certainly the means that hones its razor's edge.

Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense

Shouldn't matter. Angelique Adcock (Queen Elizabeth's mother) was not born on Manticore. Prince Michael was still the heir when he married Judith. Though those two were immigrants to Manticore.

It would depend on the wording in the Constitution.

"The Monarch and Heir are forbidden to merry a person with Manticoran titles."
Vs
"The Monarch and Heir are forbidden to merry a person with noble titles."
Vs
"The Monarch and Heir are required to merry a Commoner."

In the first two, Lester would be fine (the first would make Dynastic Marriages possible and the second, impossible.). In the third, it could be argued (probably successfully) that (a) they obviously ment Manticoran Commoner and (b) you can't be a Commoner if you don't have a nobility above you.

In any case, he would probably be asked to give up his Haven citizenship before he got married.

My own entry for shipping Scotty, Mackensie Graham. I have this image in my mind of the Grahams sending a message to Montana and getting Scotty and Sir Horace in answer. Then in the conversation afterward mentioning their friend and ally Firebrand...

My thought was Scotty and Susan Hibson (shortly on her way to a brigade command in Talbott)

Has anybody managed to find the more notable personnel from the GNS Francis Mueller their soul mates?

I'd hate to think people were leaving anyone out or that there were characters rose couldn't play matchmaker for...

Besides, I decided Stacey needs to marry elsewhere...

May I propose... Alice Truman?
