The liberals would pursue this.
1) without much consultation with the cats
2) for the 'cats own good

That said
I think the cats would be Centerists
However maybe the 'cats want to stay with consensus.
Interacting with twolegs and the Crown as a species.

The other alien shoedrop is that the there is a Medusan
plebiscite on the not too distant horizon.
