If you cannot make your SDs highly survivable in a modern combat against major adversaries you need to try a different approach. Essentially increase firepower via larger numbers of cheaper ships or increase standoff range or do something that prevents you from being effectively engaged. The MA has gone to the last, but I suspect there are other options.

I suspect the MA@darius are working on those other options.
