Recursive self-quoting...

Who is the star-nation providing political (and military) cover for the Axelrod occupation of Manticore? Is it Minorca, which Grimm and company were invoking for cover while they were exploring the gravitational background of the Manticore system, and which was Izbica's next stop? At least, until Grimm "unleashed the Merripen of war" and arranged an impromptu change of command ceremony? Or is that just more distraction?

They want to build **lots** of corvettes! :D

Essentially the disarm faction has now become the Corvette faction. Mostly by not knowing the realities on the ground, and thinking the MPARS proved itself, rather than relied on the navy for its success. (Plus self rationalization always helps).

The big flaw of this will be shown once the follow up fleet manages to escape.

We're suppose to see some of Andermandi in it. (But maybe not his fairly new BBs)

I don't know about then... but now Axelrod has a corporate headquarters on Mesa...

RFC said "refitting a Beowulfan SD to Manticoran standards would be just as difficult as refitting a standard SLN SD to those standards. In other words, it would be cheaper and faster to build new ships."
