I've seen several references to these 'infodumps'. Where can I find them, please?

The main site (currently broken) is here - http://infodump.thefifthimperium.com/series/Harrington/ There are 3 other sites you will waant to check out: 1)The black site - http://weber.fit2.bur.st/ the login is Samantha/Berry 2)Sawa's HonorverseGlosery &maps page - http://honorverseglossary.wikispaces.com/HONORVERSEGLOSSARY 3) Baen's FAQs page - http://www.baen.com/FAQS.asp ******
RFC said "refitting a Beowulfan SD to Manticoran standards would be just as difficult as refitting a standard SLN SD to those standards. In other words, it would be cheaper and faster to build new ships." |

It should be noted that "infodump" is a term applied to any of Weber's long explanations of things. So infodump includes most of Weber's posts on this forum and on Baen's Bar. Sometimes the term is even used to describe long expository explanations in the books, but I don't think that's the sense you are looking for.
The collection of infodumps on fifthimperium.com is more properly called the Pearls of Weber, or just the Pearls. It was intended to be a collection of the most important infodumps from David on Baen's Bar. Another source of infodumps is the FAQ section at the top of this website. That is culled from Weber's posts on this forum. You can also search this forum for posts by runsforcelery and whatever keywords you want. --------------------------------------------

Quotes reordered to avoid silly embedding limit.
Also a copy of the Pearls exists on http://www.davidweber.net: Pearls of Weber Simply go to the FAQs menu above and select Pearls of Weber. -------------------------------------------------------------
